Description
Professional-grade crushed glass abrasive media supplied as a full pallet of 40 x 25kg bags, providing a total pallet weight of 1,000kg.
Crushed glass is a versatile, expendable blasting abrasive suitable for removing paint, rust, coatings, staining and other unwanted surface material. It can be used on brickwork, stone, timber, aluminium, vehicle chassis and steelwork, depending on the grade selected.
The media is available in six grades, allowing the level of aggression to be matched to the surface and the material being removed.
Available Grades
Superfine
Our least aggressive grade, suitable for more delicate blasting applications. Ideal for light cleaning and coating removal from brickwork, stone, wood and softer metals such as aluminium.
Fine
One of our most popular grades. Suitable for general-purpose blasting on brickwork, stone, timber and softer metals, including aluminium. Provides effective cleaning while remaining less aggressive than the heavier grades.
Fine-Medium
Slightly less aggressive than the Medium grade. Recommended for thinner steel, vehicle chassis, stone and brickwork. Suitable for removing rust, paint and general surface contamination while offering greater control than heavier media.
Medium
A popular all-round blasting grade for thicker steel, machinery, frames and vehicle chassis. Ideal for removing established rust, paint, coatings and surface contamination.
Coarse
A heavy-duty grade that is slightly less aggressive than Extra Coarse. Suitable for applications where large amounts of rust, paint, scale or unwanted surface material need to be removed quickly.
Extra Coarse
Our most aggressive crushed glass blasting media. Designed for demanding industrial applications where heavy coatings, severe rust, scale or large amounts of unwanted material must be removed as quickly as possible.
